Burns Tours at The Globe Inn
Delve into Robert Burns’ time in Dumfries on one of the Burns Tours at the Globe Inn. You can book a tour of the rooms where Burns spent much of his time when visiting his favourite howff. You can sit in Burns’ chair, see the snug where he entertained his companions, and check out Mrs Hyslop’s kitchen, where the cook would have prepared delicacies like haggis, mutton broth and clootie dumpling.
Tours are available Tuesday to Saturday at 11am and 3pm (pre-booking only). They last approximately 45 minutes and cost £5 per person. Please pre-book at least 24 hours beforehand.
